INDEX— a 501(c)(3) nonprofit applied science and training organization — develops and advances application of exposure indices to help protect human health and safety.
Indices may include:
- IAQ Exposure Index
- Coefficient Exposure Index (floors)
- Other
- Aggregate science related to indoor exposures.
- Develop exposure indices for IAQ, other exposures, by defining an average Localized Verified Exposure (LOVE) Index in specific working environments.
- Validate and certify the science-basis for health-related claims of products.
Rather than making direct causality claims re: specific ailments, INDEX would help in identifying averaged localized verified exposures (LOVE) which would enable users of the index to make intelligent choices to protect themselves or others through management of unwanted substances indoors in localized, defined environments.

Training and Education: Offer training programs, workshops, and certifications with digital credentials for professional trainers who can assist others in determining localized verified exposures (i.e., LOVE Indexing).
