Tom Stewart has pioneered excellence in the house cleaning industry for more than 20 years, focusing on operations and training for cleaning business owners and their teams.
He is CEO of Castle Keepers House Cleaning and developed MaidCentral, software for managing house cleaning companies, including tools for workflow, quality tracking, productivity and task automation.
In the early 2000s, Tom helped found the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International (ARCSI, now ISSA Residential) and later served as its president.
He and his wife, Janice, founded ModernCleaning.com, which shares hygienic and professional cleaning practices and offers online training, including the ARCSI Professional House Cleaning (PHC) Certification Program.
Tom co-authored the Professional House Cleaning Technician’s Manual and Modern Cleaning: The Evolution of Chemical-Free Cleaning. He is also a co-founder of Cleaning Business Today and owns Housekeeping Channel and Healthy House Institute.
His work includes software, training, and publishing focused on the residential cleaning industry.
