Ergonomics (exertion levels)

This index refers to the Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) which will be a subjective rating of physical exertion level. It is loosely based on the Borg CR-10 Scale (see chart) used by professional ergonomists.

As RPE will vary based on individual fitness level, it is important to combine the Ergonomics Index with an employee exercise program, as perceived exertion levels will go down as fitness improves.
